Under HCWP, two types of home care workers will be given PR. It has the first Canada stream, under which foreign home care workers present in the country will get permanent residents when they apply for PR. The second Canada stream is for those who are not working in the country. But when these people apply from abroad for jobs as a home care worker in Canada, then they will get PR. In easy language, if you get a job on applying from abroad, then PR will also be available.
When will the registration start?
Registration for HCWP will start from March 31. However, initially IRCC will accept only the applications of foreign home care workers present in Canada. Foreign home care workers applying from outside Canada will be given the date for applying later. The Immigration Department has not yet announced dates for foreign workers. If you get a good response to HCWP, then the government intends to continue it for a long time.
On which conditions will be available?
Some conditions have to be followed to achieve permanent residency under HCWP in Canada. The conditions fixed by the Canadian government have been made much easier. Let us know about them in detail.
- Work Experience: As a home care worker, there should be a work experience of at least six months. A six -month education associated with home care training will also work in place of work experience.
- Language: Level 4 should be English under the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB). On its comparison with IELTS, these readings (writing) have 3.5 band scores, while listening (hearing) has a 4.5 band score.
- Job offer: The applicant should have a job offer from a home in Canada. The job offer will also work with Health Healthcare Service Providers, Home Care Support Service Providers, Direct Care Agency.
