Facility of the hotel

8 housing blocks, theatre and cinema hall were built in this luxurious hotel, but the work on swimming pool and festival hall remained incomplete. Hitler wanted 20 thousand bedrooms here and each room should face the sea. The size of each room was to be 5 x 2.5 meters, with 2 beds, a wardrobe and a sink. There should be a huge building in the middle of the complex, which could be used as a military hospital if needed, however, Hitler’s fate had something else in store.

Hitler wanted a hotel with 20 thousand rooms, where German people, especially soldiers, could have fun after work. As we told you the name of the hotel is Colossus of Prora, in this Prora means barren land. This is because, this dream project of the hotel was built on a sandy place in the middle of the sea.

After 1936, the work continued here in full swing, but when the Second World War started, this work was stopped because Hitler had to send 9 thousand workers to the army at that time.

This construction work which was stopped after the Second World War could not be restarted. Initially, it was used by the soldiers of the Soviet Army to hide. Later, the National People’s Army and the Unified Armed Forms of Germany took refuge here. During the war, not only soldiers but many common people also came here to hide. In this way, this half-constructed building gradually broke down and turned into ruins.

The condition of this half-built luxurious hotel of Hitler was such that it could not be sold easily. Due to some reason or the other, the deal here was cancelled every time, because most people believed that many people lost their lives here during the war and this place is no less than a haunted place.

Somehow, in 2004, the process of selling different parts of this hotel started, and today every buyer is using it according to his/her own convenience. Let us tell you, during Hitler’s time, the price of this hotel was 237.5 million German currency i.e. about 80 billion rupees.
