New Delhi. The countdown for the Women’s T20 World Cup has begun. This tournament will be played in the UAE after about 20 days. New Zealand has announced the team for this T20 tournament. The captain of the team will be Sophie Devine. This will be her record 9th T20 World Cup. Suzie Bates, who is included in the team, will also play in this tournament for the ninth time. This is the first T20 World Cup for wicketkeeper-batsman Izzy Gaze.

New Zealand announced the team for the Women’s T20 World Cup on Wednesday. Rosemary Mair has returned to the team. Rosemary Mair, Lee Tahuhu, Jess Kerr, Hannah Rowe and Molly Penfold will form the pace attack. Suzie Bates and Brooke Holiday have been included in the team as pace all-rounders.
