It is difficult to find out who is true and who is false behind the mask. This time it has crossed all limits. A fraudster asked for money from another person in the name of the Chief Justice of India. he/she asked for Rs 500 by introducing himself as CJI Chandrachud. Wearing a mask in the name of CJI, the fraud told the person that he/she needs Rs 500 and he/she is stuck in Connaught Place. After receiving the message, a complaint has been lodged in the cyber police station. The police is now investigating the matter.

An ex-user said that he/she received a message. The message read, “Hello! I am the CJI and we have an urgent meeting of the Collegium and I am stuck in Cannaught Place. Can you send me Rs 500 for a cab? I will return the money after reaching the court.” The message ended with ‘Send from iPad’. In response to the fraud incident, the Supreme Court, acting on the direction of Chief Justice D.Y. Chandrachud, has filed a formal complaint with the Cyber ​​Crime Cell on August 27. The Cyber ​​Crime Cell is now investigating the matter to identify and apprehend the culprit behind the scam.
