he/she only makes allegations, does not provide evidence, India scolds Justice Trudeau

New Delhi: India has expressed its views regarding the recent tension with Canada. The Foreign Ministry responded to Canada in strong words by holding a press conference. The Foreign Ministry said that Canada keeps making allegations but never provides evidence. Nor has it helped India in arresting people associated with Lawrence Bishnoi Syndicate.

‘Made allegations but did not provide evidence’

On the India-Canada dispute, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, ‘We have made our position very clear on this matter. You must have seen that several press releases have been issued in the last two days, in which our position has been clarified. The Government of Canada has not shared any information with us since September 2023. Yesterday, again after a public inquiry, a statement was issued saying that Canada has made serious allegations, but has not yet provided any evidence to support them… As far as the allegations are concerned, yesterday PM Trudeau The US itself admitted that they underestimated the significance of the allegations… We reject false allegations against our diplomats’

‘Appealed to extradite 26 from Canada’

External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, ‘We had shared some requests with the Canadian side for the arrest of people of Lawrence Bishnoi’s syndicate. They have not taken any action on our main concerns. There is also a political motive behind this.” The Foreign Ministry said that we have given 26 extradition requests to Canada, till now nothing has been done from Canada’s side.
