he/she kept going to jail and… Why did the policeman who arrested him/her for the first time call Lawrence Bishnoi innocent?

New Delhi: Lawrence Bishnoi. Son of a police constable from Punjab. Who was once involved in petty crimes. Now he/she has become a dreaded gangster. he/she is being said to be behind the murder of former minister Baba Siddiqui and Punjab singer Sidhu Moosewala in Mumbai. 13 years ago, he/she was arrested for the first time for setting vehicles on fire after a fight with a student leader in Chandigarh. At that time, Bishnoi, who was active in student politics in Punjab University, was only 18 years old. Former Chandigarh Inspector Amanjot Singh told the news channel NDTV that Bishnoi was very simple at that time. When the police arrested him/her, he/she used to call the policemen uncle or sir. Singh said, ‘he/she used to do only what his/her party leaders told him/her.’ Amanjot never thought that Bishnoi would become such a big gangster. They had arrested 31-year-old Bishnoi several times. he/she told that after being arrested for the sixth time, Bishnoi had said that now the police of 7-8 states will find him/her.

Bishnoi first came into limelight when he/she threatened to kill Bollywood actor Salman Khan in 2018. Bishnoi alleged that Salman had hunted two blackbucks, which are revered by the Bishnoi community of Rajasthan. During his/her appearance in the court in Jodhpur, Bishnoi had said, ‘We will kill Salman Khan. Everyone will know after taking action. Incidentally, last month in Mumbai, three people had shot dead Baba Siddiqui, who was a close friend of Salman Khan. Bishnoi is also the main accused in the murder of Sidhu Moosewala, who was killed in Punjab in 2022.

Singh said that initially Bishnoi used to work at the behest of his/her party leaders, but later he/she converted in jail. Singh said, ‘Initially he/she used to work at the behest of his/her party leaders, but when he/she started going to jail continuously, his/her mood started changing rapidly. he/she came in contact with big gangsters and his/her influence increased. Singh said, ‘When he/she kept going to jail, some prisoners who had committed big crimes felt that there was something special about Bishnoi. Then they started using it.

he/she said that he/she took him/her under his/her protection because he/she knew that Bishnoi would get bail. Amanjot Singh told that Lawrence Bishnoi Gangster Ranjeet considered Jaswinder Singh alias Rocky Fazilka as his/her guru. Singh said, ‘When Lawrence Bishnoi was in Banda jail in Uttar Pradesh, he/she met another gangster Ranjit Singh ‘Dupla’, who was very close to Rocky Fazilka. It was he/she who introduced Bishnoi to Fazilka.

Rocky Fazilka, a resident of Firozpur, Punjab, was impressed by Bishnoi and took him/her under his/her wing. Singh said that due to their villages being nearby, they became close associates. Bishnoi has been in jail since 2015 and is currently lodged in Sabarmati jail in Gujarat.
