Former Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar narrated this anecdote of Javed Miandad in ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’. Gavaskar came to this program with Virender Sehwag. Sunil Gavaskar told, ‘Javed Miandad was batting. he/she was a very clever batsman and knew how to take a psychological edge over the opposing team. In that match, an excellent spinner returned to the Indian team. The pitch was getting turn and Miandad knew that if this spinner got the line-length, he/she could trouble the whole of Pakistan.
