Ingredients for Nepali Sesame Chutney

  • 1 cup white sesame seeds
  • red chili peppers
  • garlic, ginger
  • fenugreek seeds, green chilli
  • Mint and Coriander
  • a spoonful of sugar
  • two buffed tomatoes
  • tamarind water

First of all, you have to take a pan, add white sesame seeds and some roasted red chillies and roast them till they turn light brown. Apart from this, after steaming 2 tomatoes, their pulp has to be taken out. Now add roasted sesame seeds and chillies along with garlic, ginger, mint, tomato pulp, sugar and tamarind sourdough along with salt as per taste in a grinder. After grinding in the mixer, take out the paste in a bowl.

After grinding everything well, now comes the turn of applying tadka. For this, after heating oil in a separate pan, add two chopped chillies and fenugreek seeds. And, add this seasoning to the chutney kept in the bowl, with this your Nepali chutney will be ready. Now you can serve it with anything like roti or paratha.
