Rahul Gandhi Reply: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has sent a reply to his/her notice to the Delhi Police. But according to the Delhi Police, there is no such information in it, whose investigation can be taken forward. In his/her 4 page reply, Rahul Gandhi has raised many questions on the Delhi Police. Rahul Gandhi asked why the police started this action 45 days after his/her speech and whether such questions have been asked to any BJP leader after his/her speech? Seeking 8-10 days time to gather complete information in this matter, he/she has expressed hope that this police action has nothing to do with his/her stand in Parliament and outside on various issues including the Adani case.

Why was the notice sent?
During the Bharat Jod Yatra, Rahul Gandhi had talked about complaints of sexual harassment by women in Kashmir. In this case, the Delhi Police has asked for the details of those women so that legal action can be taken against those who exploit them. On the other hand, the Congress is calling it political harassment. Earlier in the day on Sunday, the Delhi Police team had reached Rahul Gandhi’s residence to seek his/her answer in this matter. Delhi’s Special CP (L&O) Sagar Preet Hooda said that Delhi Police is treating this as a serious matter and we are trying to get more details about the victims.
Know the whole matter
In fact, Delhi Police, taking cognizance of social media posts on Rahul Gandhi’s statements, sent a questionnaire to former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and asked him/her to provide information about women who approached him/her with complaints of sexual harassment. According to the police, Rahul Gandhi had made a statement during the Srinagar phase of the Bharat Jodo Yatra that I have heard that women are still being sexually harassed.
