​HTET Exam 2024 Dates

According to the information given by the Chairman of HBSE, HTET Level 3 will be conducted in two shifts. The paper will be held on 7th December in the shift from 3 pm to 5.30 pm. On the other hand, on 8th December 2024, the Level 2 exam will be conducted from 10 am to 12.30 pm and the Level 1 exam will be conducted from 3 pm to 5.30 pm.

Who can appear for HTET exam?

After the release of the dates of Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test 2024, the candidates are waiting for its registration to open. According to reports, the board is going to start the process of Haryana HTET 2024 Registration soon. Different eligibility has been prescribed for different levels of HTET.

HTET Eligibility Criteria 2024

HTET Level-1 is for PRT teachers (class 1-5). To apply for this, candidates must have passed 12th with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognized board. Also, it is necessary to have done D.EL.Ed course.

HTET Level-2 is for TGT (Class 5-8) teachers. For this, it is necessary to have a graduation degree along with DLL/B.Ed. Whereas for Level 3 PGT teacher (above class 8), candidates must have a master’s degree and completed B.Ed course.

​HTET Exam 2024 Eligibility

HTET is one of the essential qualifications to become a teacher in government schools of Haryana. After qualifying this, candidates can apply for the post of teacher according to their level. A total of 150 questions are asked in the HTET exam, which carry 150 marks. All these questions are objective type, in which no negative marking has been kept.

For how many years is HTET valid?

Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) is valid for life. In such a situation, whenever the candidates apply for a government job as teachers, they can use HTET. However, earlier it was valid only for seven years. That is, once you pass the exam, you do not need to fill the form again.
