Haryana Results 2024: Not only defeat, Congress has been defeated on two fronts, the party may have come under tension.

New Delhi: Congress has suffered a major setback in Haryana elections. Almost all the exit polls that came after voting on October 5 had claimed a landslide victory for the party. However, when the mandate came out, all the preparations made to celebrate Congress’s victory came to naught. BJP scored a hat-trick in this election and the party is now going to form the government for the third time. Talking about Congress, when the election campaign started, the party entered the field with full force. However, gradually the infighting within the party came openly in front of the people. On one side was the camp of senior party leader and former Chief Minister of the state Bhupendra Singh Hooda, while on the other side was Dalit leader Congress MP Kumari Selja. The conflict between Hooda and Selja went against the party somewhere. Congress has not only suffered defeat in this election, it has also suffered a setback on two more fronts. Know what is the whole matter.

Congress suffers loss due to Selja vs Hooda fight

Just two days before the election results in Haryana, both Kumari Selja and Bhupendra Singh Hooda were camping in Delhi. Neither of them was in a mood to delay in staking their claim for the post of CM with the election results. However, the verdict given by the people of Haryana made it clear that the Congress party lost due to its own mistakes. Fighting within the party again kept it out of power for five years. The person whose displeasure has been discussed the most within the Congress party is MP Kumari Selja. Whose camp was seen in a different style during this election.

In Haryana, BJP broke Hooda’s dream of becoming CM again, know Kumari Selja’s statement on the results.

Congress did not get Dalit votes

Kumari Selja herself stayed away from the party’s election campaign for a long time and even when she joined, it was very reluctant. The result of which was clearly visible in the election results. Selja’s stay away from election campaign led to division of Dalit votes. Hooda had a tough time during ticket distribution in Haryana elections. There was resentment in the Dalit vote bank of the party due to Kumari Selja not accepting her words. The loss of Dalit votes to Congress in this election is a big challenge for the party. This is because the Dalit vote came with the Congress in the Lok Sabha elections. Now, the way this camp appeared in a different style can increase the problems of the party in the coming elections.

Will not get that feeling from allies due to defeat

The manner in which Congress has been defeated in the Haryana elections will affect its growing influence among the allies. This is because there are elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand after a few days. At both the places, Congress has to decide the seat sharing formula with its allies. The way Congress performed brilliantly in the Lok Sabha election results, its hold in the opposition India alliance was strengthened. If the party had performed well in Haryana and remained in power, it could have put pressure on allies in other states also. But the manner in which it has faced defeat has weakened the position of Congress to some extent. Indications of this are also beginning to be seen.

Priyanka Chaturvedi gave the message in gestures

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi reacted to the Haryana election results. he/she said that I congratulate BJP because even after so much anti-incumbency wave, it seems that their government is being formed in Haryana. The Congress party needs to think over its strategy because wherever there is a direct fight with the BJP, the Congress party becomes weak. In a way, Priyanka Chaturvedi tried to give a direct message to Congress through gestures. However, he/she also said that Maharashtra Assembly elections are being fought on issues which are completely different from Haryana. Maharashtra will vote on the basis of emotions.

Kejriwal’s straight answer also says a lot

Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal, who is part of the India alliance, also gave a strong counterattack to the Congress on the Haryana results. he/she said that the biggest lesson of the election results in Haryana is that one should never be overconfident in any election. No election should be taken lightly. Every election and every seat is difficult. This statement of Kejriwal was somewhere an indication towards the atmosphere seen in favor of Congress and then the shock in the results. Overall, it can be said that the results of Haryana are a lesson for Congress. They will have to prepare a fresh strategic plan.
