Haryana Board Exam 2025: The pattern of questions will change in Haryana 10th-12th board exams, a new question bank is being created

Latest News on Haryana Board Exam 2025: This time the questions in Haryana 10th and 12th class board exam 2025 will be on a different pattern. Haryana Board of School Education is preparing a plan to change this. The number of objective questions will be more and subjective questions will be asked less. After Covid, many changes have been made in the pattern of board examinations. Now it is being considered to increase the objective type questions, so that there is convenience in marking through online medium.

Online marking of subjective answers will take some time. But the more objective questions there are, the faster and easier the marking process will be. Therefore, work is being done on this. It is being considered to implement this format in the Haryana Board examinations to be held in 2025.

Haryana Board Exam Marks: Final paper is of 80 marks

In both class 10th and 12th, a paper of 80 marks is asked in the board exams. A total of 100 marks are assessed, in which 20 marks are added for internal assessment. Schools give these marks on the basis of activities throughout the year, assessment tests. Out of 80 marks, now objective questions of 50 marks and subjective questions of 30 marks will be asked.

Committee started work: Even though there are still seven months left for the board exams to begin, the committee has already started working on it. After the experts’ opinion, some important changes are being made from the new session. Ability measuring questions will be included for the evaluation of students in which their creativity and decision making ability will be worked upon.

The format of Haryana Board Internal Exam will also change

A new pattern of internal assessment marks is also being prepared. According to this, now students will not only have to make projects to get good marks in internal assessment, but maximum attendance will also be mandatory along with participation in class room activities. Marks of half-yearly examination and test will also be added. More competitive questions will be asked keeping the focus on measuring the ability of the students.

Focus on competitive questions

In the written examination of the board, the focus will be on competitive questions rather than general questions. Earlier, up to 30 percent such questions were asked. This time, preparations are being made to increase their number to 40 to 50 percent. The board is also making a question paper bank. Three to four model question papers of 10th and 12th will be included in it, which will prove to be very useful for the students.

Many changes will be seen in the board examinations of March 2025. Preparations for this have been started. The number of objective questions will be increased. The methods of internal assessment will also be changed. There will also be a change in the methods of questions, so that students do not answer the questions only by rote learning, but write the answers after thinking. Some important changes are being made only after the opinion of experts. – Dr. VP Yadav, Chairman, Haryana School Education Board
