Haryana Assembly Election: Why is there a delay in the list of Congress candidates in Haryana? The big reason has come to light

New Delhi : There is a lot of activity regarding the Haryana elections. While the ticket aspirants and party members are keeping an eye on the list of candidates of their respective parties, on the other hand, the other parties present in the state elections are also keeping an eye on the Congress list. The reason for this is being said that Congress seems to be in the strongest position in terms of candidates. In view of the good chances of Congress winning in the current elections, there is a huge crowd of people wanting Congress ticket. The craze for Congress ticket can be gauged from the fact that more than 2500 applications have been received by the Congress for the 90 seats of the state. There are 40 to 50 contenders for each seat.

Voting is to be held on October 5

There is a discussion that the ruling party BJP and other parties there do not have strong candidates for all the seats. Even BJP is waiting for the Congress list. However, on Tuesday, BJP has given a clear picture of its 88 candidates. But sources within the party are saying that if needed, there can be a change in the candidates’ faces even at the last moment. It is worth mentioning that the last date for nomination for the voting to be held on October 5 in Haryana is Thursday, September 12. However, the coordination exercise between AAP and Congress was also being cited as a reason behind the initial delay.

So that is why there is a delay

However, Congress is officially blaming the ill health of state in-charge Deepak Bavariya for this delay. According to sources, Bavariya suddenly suffered an infection, due to which he/she had to be hospitalized. This also caused a delay in deliberation on election tickets. On the other hand, Congress does not want to reveal its cards till the last moment, so that the scope of discontent and rebellion in the party can be reduced. It is worth mentioning that Congress has so far made the picture clear on its 41 seats through two lists, while Aam Aadmi Party has also announced tickets for 29 candidates through two lists so far. The list of the remaining candidates may come late tonight or tomorrow morning.

AAP’s state president Sushil Gupta has already announced to contest on all 90 seats. According to AAP sources, AAP is eyeing rebels and dissatisfied people from both BJP and Congress. An important strategist of AAP said that we will give a chance to the disgruntled aspirants from Congress and BJP to contest. Actually, AAP feels that on many of these seats it can find some such faces who have a mass base in their respective areas. In such a situation, such candidates will be successful in gathering votes for the party.

The list may come late Thursday night

On the other hand, Congress also understands that its leaders and workers who have been out of power for the last ten years have worked very hard in their respective areas in the last few years. In such a situation, many of those who will not get tickets will not mind contesting as independents or on the ticket of some other party instead of waiting for their turn for the next five years. That is why Congress wants to keep the list for the last moment. Congress’s list is expected to come late tonight or by Thursday. According to sources, a list may come late tonight.

Apart from AAP and BJP, JJP and Chandrashekhar Azad’s alliance in Haryana are also keeping an eye on the Congress list. In fact, due to the split in INLD and the five-year anti-incumbency against JJP, it is facing difficulty in finding good candidates for all the seats for its alliance. Congress plans that the lesser the gap between nomination and the final list of candidates, the lesser will be the scope of discontent and rebellion. Other parties will have less time to bring its aspirants, who did not get the ticket, to their side. At the same time, those who are angry due to not getting the ticket will also have less scope to contest as independents.
