Hardik played a great innings in difficult times, said- everyone has to take responsibility


North Sound. The Indian team continued its winning campaign in the ICC T20 World Cup and won a one-sided match against Bangladesh. Hardik Pandya laid the foundation for India’s victory in the Super Eight of the ICC T20 World Cup by scoring a blazing half-century. The all-rounder, who played a key role in the 50-run victory over Bangladesh, credited the victory to team effort.

After losing the toss, the Indian team came out to bat first and scored a big score against Afghanistan on the basis of Hardik Pandya’s fifty and Rishabh Pant’s fast innings. Chasing India’s target of 197 runs, Bangladesh’s team could only score 146 runs for eight wickets in front of the sharp bowling of Kuldeep Yadav, Jaspreet Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh.

In this match, Pandya (50 not out, 27 balls, four fours, three sixes) scored a quick half-century while Virat Kohli (37), Rishabh Pant (36) and Shivam Dubey (34) played useful innings to take India to 196 runs for five wickets. Pandya also took one wicket. Pandya said after the match, “I think we played very good cricket. We performed unitedly and implemented our plans well.”

The Indian team was looking in trouble after losing wickets continuously. Hardik Pandya came in the end and scored a brilliant fifty and played an important role in taking Team India to a big score. he/she said, “In some situations, everyone has to step forward and take responsibility.

Talking about bowling, he/she said that I realized that the batsmen wanted to use the wind. Pandya said, “I just had to make sure that I don’t let them hit shots in the windy area, it was about staying one step ahead of the batsman.”
