Indian team’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya is ready to return to 50 over cricket after almost 14 months. he/she will be seen playing with Baroda team in Vijay Hazare Trophy from 27th December. he/she was injured in the India vs Bangladesh match in the ODI World Cup 2023 and since then he/she remained away from the ODI match. After being injured, he/she returned to the field and made India the champion by changing the course of the match with his/her bowling in the T20 World Cup final.
Hardik Pandya’s participation in Vijay Hazare Trophy is very important because the Champions Trophy is near. In such a situation, Hardik’s playing in these matches is going to prove important for his/her preparation for the Champions Trophy. Before this, Hardik Pandya participated in seven matches of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In this, Baroda reached the semi-finals. In those seven matches, Pandya scored 246 runs and took 6 wickets.
Hardik is once again ready to show his/her strength in the 50-50 over match for the Baroda team. his/her elder brother Krunal Pandya is the captain of the team and the team will now face Bengal. The team has played 2 matches so far and won both the matches. On Hardik not playing the initial matches, the team management said, ‘he/she had some personal issues and due to this he/she was not available for the first few matches. They have reached Hyderabad and will play tomorrow. he/she has had some discussions with coach Mukund Parmar and will play from now on.
