Hansal Mehta said- That star did not meet my disabled son, now I have given up

On Monday, a video of South Cinema superstar Nagarjuna is currently in discussion on social media for a negative reason. Actually, a video of him/her from the airport surfaced on social media in which his/her bodyguard pushed a disabled fan. After this video surfaced, the actor started getting criticized on social media. However, the actor has apologized for this incident and said that he/she will take full care that such an incident never happens in the future. People are reacting to this post of Nagarjuna and now Hansal Mehta has expressed such a pain related to his/her son.

Hansal Mehta’s son Jai Mehta has also reacted to this incident related to Nagarjuna. Jai Mehta has shared a long note on X. he/she has written, ‘I would like to point out (I may be wrong, but I don’t think I am wrong) that this person who is attracting the attention of the ‘stars’ appears to be a disabled person. Do they really think that a staff member/employee at the airport, who must have seen celebrities coming and going through the same arrival gate at least 100 times a day, will enter their personal space and provoke them to look? So the answer is … no! That man is clearly disabled. Correct me if I am wrong. Although I doubt that I am. Actually I feel so because I was sitting on a chair outside this outlet last week and waiting for a friend of mine who was coming to pick me up at the airport. Then my eyes fell on this disabled person. The security guards present there should be given proper training on how to handle the crowd better and in a better way. Celebrities/politicians/sportsmen need to be a little less self-obsessed. Don’t get me wrong here.’

Hansal Mehta’s elder son told a painful story related to his/her brother

he/she further added, ‘I love this actor, I have always loved him/her but I hate the fact that he/she didn’t even bother to look at the person who came to him/her. he/she didn’t even bother to look at the person who was thrown away by his/her security guard. The reason why people who are big in this world are big is because such small people respect, admire and praise you. If they didn’t do this, you would be nothing. Now let me tell you why this glimpse disturbed me. My younger brother, Pallav, is mentally challenged. he/she has Down syndrome, it is not something that happened to him/her through dirty syringes… he/she was born like that. It is genetic. Let me tell you that he/she is a die hard fan of Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan.’

This is a big thing for us because he/she can’t even pronounce our names as well as he/she pronounces their names, their movies and songs.’ Jay said that this incident has hurt him/her deeply. he/she said, ‘This incident has hurt me because people give strange looks even after seeing my brother and we have become used to this look of people. Even educated-aware-so-called woke people do this, but it’s okay. I have become used to such things, but what will hurt me the most is that if I ever take my younger brother with me to a screening in the industry and by mistake both his/her favorite stars are present there. I would not want anyone to push my brother like this because of his/her innocence and lack of understanding, no matter who they are.’

I had requested many times through his/her brother, his/her close friends that meeting the star would mean a lot to him/her and it would be my gift to my son. When he/she had his/her eye operation, the first person he/she recognised in the newspaper was a star. But no one. There was no reaction from the star or his/her friends. I gave up. Now over the years Pallav’s comprehension abilities have declined. And now even if it happens it won’t mean anything.”
