Some people are so fond of coffee that they drink 8 to 10 cups of coffee a day. Especially in the cold season, be it home or office, one cannot do any work without coffee. Drinking coffee is not bad but consuming it excessively is not good for health at all. If you suffer from high blood pressure then consuming too much coffee can be harmful for you. According to Dr. Bimal Chhajed of Saul Heart Center, drinking too much coffee can have many side effects.

According to Dr Chhajed, if you are fond of coffee then you should also know its disadvantages. Coffee excites the brain and it also increases blood pressure. It also contains high amount of caffeine. In such a situation, you can consume other healthy drinks instead of coffee.

The doctor told that drinking too much coffee increases adrenaline hormone and also increases blood pressure. Due to these reasons the risk of heart disease also increases. BP not only causes heart disease but can also cause stroke. Drinking too much coffee can also cause sleep problems. Therefore, the doctor has advised to drink some drinks instead of coffee.
