This is a crime thriller web series, which will be seen on Amazon Prime Video. There is curiosity among the people about the release of this series. This series has been shot mainly in the city of Mirzapur and its surrounding places.

The web series Mirzapur is named after the city of Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh. Most of its scenes have been shot in real locations of Mirzapur. The city is close to Banaras, which makes it easy to recognize many scenes of Mirzapur Season 2. For example, the scene where Kaleen Bhaiya, played by Pankaj Tripathi, cremates Bavji, played by Kulbhushan Kharbanda. This scene is of Jargo Dam near Mirzapur. From the tourism point of view, Lakhaniya Dari, Ashtabhuja Temple, Chunar Fort and Sita Kund are the main attractions of this city.

Varanasi

The Tripathi Kothi and Kaleen Bhaiya’s Haveli shown in the Mirzapur series is actually the Azmatgarh Palace of Varanasi, also known as Moti Jheel Mahal. This place is one of the most beautiful places shown in the series. Apart from this, many important scenes have also been shot at various ghats of Varanasi, making Kashi Nagari a major shooting location of the Mirzapur web series. The city is famous for its stunning architecture, Mughlai cuisine and intricate chikankari embroidery. In the second season of Mirzapur, you can see the crossing near Novelty MGS Cinema in Lalbagh, Lucknow, where Guddu goes to visit his/her sister in the city.

Gorakhpur

Multiple aerial shots of Gorakhpur have been shown in both seasons of Mirzapur. Named after Saint Gorakhnath, this city is home to many temples and tourist attractions. Gorakhpur is a little away from Varanasi and Mirzapur city. There is a lot to see for tourists in this city, such as a spiritual center on the Rapti River, which attracts tourists. Apart from this, Railway Museum, Veer Bahadur Singh Planetarium, Geeta Vatika and Imambara are the main attractions here.
