Govt School Admission 2021: Admission starts from class 6 to 9 in Delhi government schools, here’s the complete details

Govt School Admission 2021: The process of enrolling in Delhi government schools from class 6th to 9th is starting. Students who want to take admission can visit the official website of Directorate of Education (DoE) can go on. The admission process has started from Friday (11th June 2021), 05 PM onwards. Interested students can apply online till June 30 till 5 PM to enroll.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia (Manish Sisodia) had given the necessary information related to the admission process on Thursday, June 10. He had organized a conference through his official Twitter account, in which the admission process, allotment list release date and other important information was given.

Admission process from class 6th to 9th in Delhi government schools
The application process for admission to classes 6 to 9 in Delhi government schools will start today, June 11 at 5 PM. The admission process will be conducted online and will be done in two different phases. The first phase is starting from June 11. Students who want to take admission in these classes can apply till June 30 by visiting the website of Directorate of Education, Government of Delhi. The Delhi government will give one more chance to the students who will not be able to apply in the first phase. Re-admission registrations will be opened for them from July 23 to August 06.

When and where will the allotment list be released?
The first allotment list will be declared on July 14, based on the admission application form received till June 30. The allotment list will be uploaded on the official website of Directorate of Education mentioned above. After this, the documents will be submitted for verification between July 19 and 31. The second round of registration will run from July 23 to August 06.

Also keep in mind the age limit
Class 6 – Must be above 10 years but below 12 years of age.
Class 7 – Above 11 years but below 13 years.
Class 8 – Above 12 years but below 14 years.
Class 9 – Above 13 years but below 15 years.
The upper age is relaxable by four years for physically handicapped students.
