In an interview recently, his/her nephew actor Vinay Anand said that no one questioned his/her time ban on his/her time ban. he/she also recalled an incident when a filmmaker from Govinda had put him/her in a torrential rain as he/she had arrived a few minutes late. Vinay said that most of the stars do not come on time and they said that they always keep informing their directors. he/she said, ‘Except Akshay Kumar, all these stars come at their convenience. They talk to their director and come comfortably. ‘ he/she said that there may be some reasons behind Govinda’s late arrival. he/she said, ‘You never know, maybe they have made some mistakes, someone has felt bad.’

When Govinda was asked in the ‘Indian Idol’ that his/her makers discriminated against him/her on the set as he/she was an outsider, Vinay recalled an incident when Govinda was raised in the rain as a punishment. he/she said, ‘When he/she was just starting, he/she was a filmmaker, Govinda was going from Virar and was late. The film had another hero from a reputed family. The maker decorated Govinda by standing out in the rain. In this way he/she expressed his/her anger. I think this hurt Govinda.
