Bollywood actor Govinda was a superstar in the 80s and 90s. he/she used to shoot many films in a single day in several shifts. Used to work on about 10 projects at the same time. Because of this, film makers sometimes had to wait for him/her for hours. he/she was known for coming late to the set, but his/her stardom was such that everyone used to tolerate his/her tantrums. he/she used to make everyone his/her fan with his/her work. his/her dancing skills, acting, comic timing made him/her a reliable star of that era. Once when he/she was shooting in Hyderabad, Aamir Khan came to the set to watch his/her acting. Shakti Kapoor had made a revelation about this. While talking to Bollywood Bubble, Shakti Kapoor had said, ‘I remember an incident from the old days. Govinda and I were shooting a qawwali scene on stage in Hyderabad. There was a face to face between us. From a distance I saw that there was a very small person standing in a corner of the crowd. When I looked at him/her I thought I had seen this person somewhere. After some time I realized that it was Aamir Khan.

When Shakti Kapoor was asked what changes have happened in Govinda in the last few years, he/she immediately said, ‘The one thing that has changed about him/her in the last few years is his/her punctuality. Earlier he/she used to come at 9 pm for the 9 am shift. Now he/she comes at 8:30 am for the 9 am shift. he/she further said, ‘Insecurity can take a person from where to where. Now he/she is very professional and the entire industry knows it.

he/she further said, ‘People say that it is too late for an actor to make a comeback, I don’t believe it. We have seen people like Amrish Puri starting at the age of 44. It is never too late for an actor or artist.
