New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that while voters in many countries wanted change in their governments this year, Indians have chosen continuity, political stability and economic growth by electing the NDA government for the third consecutive time. Speaking at the ET World Leaders Forum, he/she asserted that India is crafting a unique success story, with the impact of reforms evident in the performance of the economy. The PM said that in the last 10 years, the global economy has grown at 35 per cent but the Indian economy has grown at 90 per cent. We had promised sustained growth and we have achieved sustained growth which will continue to grow in future as well.

Many big countries of the world have voted to change the government in recent times. But the people of India have given the opposite mandate. The people of India have given a hat-trick to a government after 60 years. Youth and women have voted for continuity, stability and economic growth. For this I thank the people of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the growing confidence among Indians in the country’s achievements in the last decade. he/she said that this confidence reflects a new faith in India’s development and reforms.
