Government will pay the cost of commuting to school, Transport Voucher Scheme started in Rajasthan

Bhajan Lal government is going to give a big gift to the rural girls of Rajasthan. Rajasthan government has started a transport voucher scheme for girls to go to schools in rural areas. Under this, the girls will now be given an allowance by the government to travel to school. Rural girls will get the benefit of this scheme from the current new academic session. For this, the School Education Council has issued instructions.

21 thousand 234 girl students of Rajasthan will get benefit

Under the Transport Voucher Yojana Rajasthan, students of class 9th and 10th of government schools of the state will get a transport voucher of Rs 20 based on their daily attendance. 21 thousand 234 girl students of Rajasthan will get the benefit of this scheme.

However, according to the instructions issued, transport vouchers will be given only to those students whose school is 5 kms or more away from their home. In this way, students will get a maximum transport voucher of Rs. 5400 in the whole year.

Transport voucher of Rs.3000 for class VIII

Bhajanlal government has also included eighth class girl students in the transport voucher scheme. Under this scheme, class eight girl students studying in government schools in rural areas will also get benefits. The amount for them has been decided on the basis of the distance of school from home. The government’s objective behind implementing this scheme is to promote girl education. Under this, girl students will get a transport voucher of maximum 3000 rupees in a year.

The amount will be received after the principal’s report

As per the instructions of the Education Council, the working days will be calculated according to the Shivira Panchang of the Education Department. During this, the report of the school principal or head master will be important. The school head will give his/her report based on the details of the attendance of the girl students. The girl students will be able to get the amount only after this report. Under this scheme, the girl students studying in model schools will also get its benefit.
