Government took action in NEET case, NTA on the radar of high level committee!

NEET UG 2024 Latest News Today: UGC NET Cancellation and Well The central government has taken a tough stand after some evidence of paper leak was found. A high-level committee has been formed to review the functioning of the National Testing Agency (NTA). On Thursday, June 19, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that ‘We are committed to conducting Zero Error exams.’

Amid allegations of irregularities in the NEET exam, Dharmendra Pradhan informed in a briefing about the formation of a high-level committee to investigate the working style of NTA.

How does NTA conduct the exam? The committee will review

Central Education Minister Pradhan said that ‘Suggestions will be sought from this high-level committee to further improve the structure, functioning, examination process, transparency and data security protocol of NTA. Strict action will be taken against any officer of the National Testing Agency if found guilty.’

he/she said, ‘I want to assure everyone that the government is committed to protecting the rights of students. We will not compromise on transparency.’

At the same time, on the continuous updates coming about the NEET exam in Bihar, the minister said, ‘We have received information about the NEET exam from the Bihar government. Patna Police is investigating the matter and they will soon send a detailed report to the Government of India. Initial information indicates that the errors were limited to a specific area.’

Finally he/she said, ‘We should have faith in our system. Any irregularity or malpractice by the government will not be tolerated.’

Student’s confession on NEET paper leak

On the other hand, a student in Bihar Anurag Yadav has confessed to the NEET paper leak. Anurag Yadav has given a statement in front of Patna police that his/her uncle called him/her from Kota to Patna. he/she was dropped at the house of the paper leak mafia one night before the exam. Where he/she was made to memorize the NEET paper and answers to all the questions. The next day, 100% of the questions matched in the exam.
