New Delhi. Fast bowler Kamran Khan, who played IPL for Rajasthan Royals, has announced his/her retirement. Kamran announced his/her retirement from IPL through social media. Seeing the speed and accurate yorker of this fast bowler of India, former captain of Rajasthan Royals Shane Warne named him/her ‘Tornado’ in 2009. ‘Tornado’ is the name of a storm. Left-hand fast bowler Kamran played 9 matches in IPL and took a total of 9 wickets. For some time, he/she was living a life of anonymity. Kamran Khan holds the record of bowling the first super over in the history of IPL.

33-year-old Kamran Khan wrote in his/her Instagram story, ‘Goodbye IPL. The game I love the most. This game has given me everything. I would like to thank all my coaches. Also the late Shane Warne sir… Apart from Rajasthan Royals, I am thankful to Pune Warriors India, family and my friends.’

There was comparison with Lasith Malinga
Fast bowler Kamran Khan used to bowl at a speed of 140 kmph in IPL. his/her accurate yorker and speed earned him/her comparisons with the legendary Lasith Malinga. Kamran’s bowling action was similar to Malinga’s. After playing IPL in 2012, Kamran was lost in the world of obscurity. he/she never got a chance again. This player from Mau in Uttar Pradesh is now playing professional cricket in Mumbai to support his/her family. he/she plays cricket for Air India and even today practices for hours.

Kamran had bowled the super over against KKR
In 2009, Warne’s decision to make Kamran Khan bowl in the super over against Kolkata Knight Riders proved to be a masterstroke. Kamran then led his/her team to a spectacular victory. Kamran Khan was accused of chucking in 2010. he/she had to go to Australia for clearance of his/her bowling action. Later, his/her bowling action was given the green signal. After which he/she joined the Pune franchise in 2011.

Kamran Khan played in the IPL for Rajasthan Royals from 2009 to 2010. he/she took 9 wickets in 9 IPL matches. Talking about his/her T20 career, Kamran took 12 wickets in 11 matches.
