Good news from AKTU, big update on carry over exam, exam pattern will also change

AKTU Carry Over Exam News: Now students who fail in the final year of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will not have to wait for a year to pass the course. Under the new system, students will be able to pass the course by giving the carryover examination in the same year in which they fail. Not only this, this exam will be computer based. In this, multiple choice questions will be asked. This will save time in evaluation and the result will also be released in a few days.

AKTU Exam: New system will be implemented for everyone

AKTU’s controller of examinations, Dr. Rajiv Kumar, said that the computer-based carryover examination will be implemented first in the final year. After this it will be started in the remaining semesters also. An agency will be selected for this. With this a question bank will be created.

Paper will be made with AI: At present, experts from the university are engaged in this work. After this, with the help of AI, different questions will be asked to each student in the online exam. With this there will be no scope for copying.

What will be the benefit?

Till now, students who fail in the final year are able to appear for the exam only next year. Due to this, they are not able to do anything else for a year and their placement is also delayed. At the same time, it takes one to two months to prepare question papers for these examinations, conduct the examination and evaluation. Due to this other exams get delayed. According to statistics, every year 50 thousand students appear for carryover examinations in KGMU. This puts pressure on the examination department. Due to online examination, the burden of the department will also be reduced.
