BSNL 5G Service: The country’s largest public sector company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will start 5G service in 2024. Union Information and Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has given this information on Thursday. He said BSNL has shortlisted a consortium led by TCS and C-DOT to roll out the 4G network, which will be able to scale up to 5G in about a year from the date of placing the order under the contract. 5G service started in Odisha

Talking to reporters, Information and Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, “BSNL will start 5G services in 2024.” It is said in the program. During this Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was also present along with Minister Vaishnav.

5G will be in entire Odisha in 2 years

Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, “Entire Odisha will be covered with 5G services in 2 years. 5G services have started in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack from today. Ashwini Vaishnav has decided to start 5G services in the state before January 26, 2023. Had promised which has been completed on time.

5000 mobile towers will be installed

Minister Vaishnav said that the Modi government has allocated Rs 5,600 crore to strengthen telecom connectivity in the state. He said that “100 towers have been launched for 4G services covering 100 villages in Odisha. During this, 5000 mobile towers with world class communication facilities will be installed in the state.
