BrahMos Deputy CEO Dr SK Joshi told Firstpost that more than 250 Indian defense industries are part of Team BrahMos. he/she has expressed confidence in other Indian defense industries and corporate houses after the initiative taken by BrahMos.

Dr Joshi said that we are expecting an overwhelming response from our Indian defense industry partners after the graduation of the first batch of Agniveers. Rane also explained this in detail. he/she said that we are requesting all our vendors who are going to work with us, in terms of outsourcing all the security and manpower that we do. We want that at least 15 percent of their workforce should be firefighters. Atul Dinkar Rane Rane said that this will be a message to those planning to work with BrahMos to give a chance to Agniveers also.

Reservation in other organizations
At present, Agniveers get 10 per cent reservation in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) which comes under the purview of the Home Ministry. They are also exempted from certain physical tests compared to other candidates if they wish to enter any of the CAPF organizations. In July, Haryana had announced a 10 percent quota for Agniveers in selected government jobs. The state government also announced that it will provide a subsidy of Rs 60,000 per year to industrial units that provide firefighters with a monthly salary of more than Rs 30,000.
