Gold prices in the national capital jumped by Rs 770 to Rs 58,680 per 10 grams on Thursday. In the last trading session, gold had closed at Rs 57,910 per 10 grams.

Silver also gained Rs 1,491 to close at Rs 71,666 per kg. An analyst with HDFC Securities said, “Spot gold prices in Delhi rose by Rs 770 to Rs 58,680 per 10 grams.”
Gold and silver rise in foreign markets
In the overseas markets, gold strengthened to $1,956 an ounce while silver was up at $24.15 an ounce.
