Under this policy, people having permanent residency or visa of America, Britain or any country of European Union will be given easy entry into the country. For how many days will I get UAE visa?

Under the new policy of the UAE government, if an Indian is found eligible under the conditions, he/she will get a 14-day visa-on-arrival on arrival in the UAE. In simple language, Indians will get a visa for 14 days on reaching UAE. This initiative reflects the growing partnership between India and UAE. About 35 lakh Indian citizens are living in UAE. This is being seen as an important step towards increasing travel and trade opportunities between the two countries.

Important things about UAE visa-on-arrival

Visa-on-arrival will be granted to Indian citizens only if they comply with certain conditions. The eligibility criteria for this facility are as follows:

• Indians holding a valid US visa, residence permit or green card will be given visa-on-arrival.
• Indians holding a valid visa or residence permit from any European Union country or Britain will get visa-on-arrival.
• An Indian citizen must have a passport whose validity is at least six months.

If an Indian citizen fulfills all these eligibility criteria, he/she will be given a visa for a stay of 14 days on arrival in UAE. he/she also has the option to extend the visa for 60 days by paying the application fee.
