Sitharaman also said that the government will promote conservation values ​​through a scheme to promote optimal use of wetlands.

In addition, a green loan program will be notified to encourage environmentally sustainable and responsible actions by companies. Indian Biogas Association President Gaurav Kedia said the budget prioritizes adoption of green fuel, energy and construction practices to reduce carbon intensity and create new green job opportunities.
