GOAT will get a bumper opening like ‘Stree 2’, great advance booking! ‘Veda’ and ‘Khel Khel Mein’ are sweating it out

While ‘Stree 2’ has been making record-breaking earnings at the box office for the past three weeks, the condition of South films is bad. In the month of August, 37 South films were released, but only 2 became hits. But it seems that these clouds of disappointment are about to clear. Actually, there is tremendous advance booking of superstar Thalapathy Vijay’s film GOAT (Greatest of All Time). It seems that this film is going to make bumper earnings on the opening day just like ‘Stree 2’. By the way, if this Tamil film shows an impact in Hindi as well, then in the coming days, the problems of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and John Abraham’s ‘Veda’ are going to increase. Thalapathy Vijay’s action thriller ‘The Greatest of All Time’ is releasing across the country on September 5. Vijay’s fans have been eagerly waiting for this film directed by Venkat Prabhu. he/she also has a double role in the film. As a result of this, its advance booking is skyrocketing. The film has earned Rs 18.71 crore from pre-sales till Wednesday afternoon before its release.

GOAT Advance Booking Report

According to the report of sacnilk, 92.93 lakh tickets have been booked in advance for GOAT till Wednesday afternoon. While half a day is still left for booking. The film has earned the highest amount of Rs 17.70 crore in pre-sales from the Tamil version, while tickets worth Rs 27.29 lakh have been sold for the Hindi version. Tickets worth Rs 46.62 lakh have been sold for the Telugu version. Apart from this, tickets worth Rs 26.94 lakh have been sold for the Tamil IMAX version.

‘Greatest of All Time’ lagged slightly behind ‘Leo’

GOAT has grossed more than Rs 50 crore from worldwide advance booking a day before its release. However, this is slightly less than Thalapathy Vijay’s last year’s blockbuster ‘Leo’. But the way the situation has changed in the theatres in the last few months, these figures of advance booking are like a wave of happiness.

GOAT will overtake ‘Stree 2’ on opening day

‘Stree 2’, released on the occasion of Independence Day, had a net collection of Rs 51.80 crore in the country on the first day at the box office. Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkumar Rao’s film had grossed Rs 80 crore worldwide on the opening day. GOAT’s advance booking figures indicate that it can do a business of more than Rs 100 crore worldwide on the opening day. While in the country it is going to be around Rs 60 crore.

‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Veda’ will be affected in Hindi

However, GOAT does not seem to have much impact in Hindi at the moment. Still, it seems to be causing harm to ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Veda’. On one hand, these two films are already lagging behind the blockbuster earnings of ‘Stree 2’ of Rs 492.30 crore in 20 days, and now due to the release of GOAT, the number of their shows in theaters will decrease further.
