In our 75th year of independence, we have failed, failed miserably, to acknowledge the heroic deeds of great men like Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh. Our history has not given them the place they deserve. The foundation of our freedom is built on the supreme sacrifices of him/her and other unsung or lesser-known heroes. he/she has been misrepresented. he/she described this neglect as a travesty of justice and stressed the importance of correcting historical misconceptions to give due respect to those who laid the foundation of India’s independence.
