Chandigarh, October 3 (Trinew)
After allegations of alleged corruption spread in the departments of Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, JJP has now come to the defense of Dushyant Chautala. JJP has challenged all the leaders making allegations of corruption to provide proof within a week. After this a defamation case will be filed against everyone. JJP Principal General Secretary Digvijay Chautala, while talking to journalists in Chandigarh on Tuesday, said that the leaders who have made allegations of corruption will have to apologize.
Dushyant Chautala has been the target of many opposition leaders of Haryana for the last several days. Be it Chaudhary Birendra Singh or Leader of Opposition Bhupendra Hooda, all opposition leaders are cornering Dushyant on the issue of alleged corruption in his departments.
Digvijay has met his uncle INLD national chief general secretary Abhay Singh Chautala, former Union minister Chaudhary Birender Singh, former chief minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda, Congress Rajya Sabha member Deepender Hooda, former Union minister Jayprakash JP, Haryana Jansevak Party convenor Balraj Kundu and his cousin. Has warned of filing a defamation case against Arjun Chautala in the court.
Digvijay said that allegations were made against us of liquor scam, registry scam, paddy scam and scam of purchase of land of Hisar Airport. The party has all the recordings of the corruption allegations made by him. We were silent only because we will answer when the time comes. Released the recording of former Union Minister Birendra Singh while talking to journalists. In this he (Birendra Singh) is talking about corruption in Dushyant Chautala’s departments.
Digvijay said that if any leader does not give proof of the allegations against the Deputy Chief Minister within a week, then we will meet him in the court. Defamation cases will be filed against him. Only political considerations are hidden behind these allegations. These opposition parties are afraid of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Center and Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala in Haryana. Dushyant Chautala had won the election in Uchana by 50 thousand votes on the strength of his party. All the parties together intend to defeat Dushyant in the 2024 assembly elections, but the people of Uchana will send Dushyant to the assembly by making him win by one lakh votes.
JJP will raise the issue of student union elections
Jananayak Janata Party, BJP’s ruling ally in Haryana, has raised the issue of student union elections in educational institutions of the state. JJP has announced to run a campaign for this at the state level. Jannayak Janata Party’s Principal General Secretary Digvijay Chautala said while talking to journalists that JJP will work to prepare the environment for student union elections in the entire state by putting forward its student wing INSO. Vice Chancellors of universities will be met and a memorandum will be given to all MPs and MLAs requesting the government to conduct student union elections. Students will also write postcards to the Governor to convey their views to the government. Digvijay Chautala said that his party and INSO send a demand letter to the government every 15 days demanding restoration of student union elections, but no action is being taken on it. At the beginning of the movement, the first memorandum will be given to Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, who will work to convey the demands of the students to the government. Digvijay said that about three years ago the state government had started the indirect election process in universities and colleges, but we are not in favor of it at all. Students want that there should be direct elections for the student union, so that youth from poor families can also come forward in politics. Holding student union elections means a big attack on capitalism.
