Ghajini 2: Aamir Khan and Surya will shoot together, planning to release it together in Tamil and Hindi

Bollywood’s Mr. ‘Perfectionist’ Aamir Khan is in talks with producers Allu Aravind and Madhu Mantena regarding the sequel of the 2008 hit film ‘Ghajini’. Earlier reports suggested that the producers have pitched an idea to Aamir, who has requested him/her to develop a storyboard before going ahead. Meanwhile, Allu Aravind has planned to make ‘Ghajini 2’ in Tamil with South Star Suriya and Suriya has also revealed about it. According to the report of Pinkvilla, Suriya was surprised and said, ‘After a long time. Allu Aravind came up with that idea (for the sequel) and asked if it would be possible. I said sure, sir, we can think about it. Yes, talks have started, things are in process. ‘Ghajini 2’ can be made.

Reports indicate that Allu Aravind and Madhu Mantena want to shoot both the Hindi and Tamil versions of ‘Ghajini 2’ simultaneously. A source revealed that as films are targeting a pan India audience, it is becoming difficult to remake a cult classic.

There is confusion regarding the remake

Both Aamir and Surya are excited about ‘Ghajini 2’, but are cautious about it being called a remake. he/she is worried that if one version is released before the other, it may reduce excitement for both films.

Waiting for the final script

Both Aamir and Surya are showing interest in this project, but the final script is awaited for official signing. Work on the script is currently underway and it may be finalized by mid-2025.
