Robusta is used in instant coffee, while Arabica is the preferred choice of Starbucks and other coffee chains. India is the fourth largest producer of Robusta coffee in the world. Low production in Brazil

In terms of coffee production, Karnataka ranks first in the country. According to the statistics of National Horticulture Board and Coffee Board, out of the total coffee produced in the country, 70.65 percent of coffee is produced in Karnataka alone. Kerala is on the second number. Where 20.43 percent of the total production of coffee is grown. Andhra Pradesh produces 3.44 percent of the country’s total coffee production.
