IIT Roorkee GATE Exam 2025: IIT Roorkee has been given the responsibility of conducting the next exam of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) i.e. GATE 2025. IIT has also launched the GATE Exam 2025 official website. Along with this, GATE 2025 Syllabus and GATE Paper Pattern 2025 have been released. GATE 2025 Exam Date: When will the GATE exam be held?

GATE Exam 2025 date has not been announced yet. GATE Exam Notification 2025 will also be released after some time. You will be able to see the notice, information bulletin on the GATE official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in and apply online from here. Till then start your preparation by looking at the GATE exam pattern and syllabus.

GATE Exam Pattern 2025: GATE Paper Pattern

  • This exam will be conducted in online mode (CBT).
  • The language of the examination will be English.
  • Duration of GATE exam will be 3 hours.
  • GATE exam will be conducted for a total of 30 subjects. You can select your stream.
  • Apart from this, the GATE paper pattern will be like this-

gate exam marking scheme There will be questions of 1 or 2 marks
negative marking in gate In MCQs, 1/3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer for every 1 mark question. 2/3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer for every 2 mark question. There will be no negative marking for MSQ and NAT questions.
