Garhi, Simultala and Narodah will become hubs of eco tourism… top class facilities will be available from boating to bird camp

Many areas of the district will soon be developed as hubs of eco-tourism. Approval for this has been received from the state government. In the first phase, Garhi reservoir of Khaira block, Simultala and Naroda waterfall located in Chakai block have been selected. District Forest Officer Tejas Jaiswal said that tourism facilities will be developed at all these places as per the requirement. The survey work for this has been completed and construction work will start soon.

Special development of tourist facilities will be done in Garhi
Many types of migratory birds have been arriving at Garhi waterfall since long. Therefore, special development of tourist facilities will be done at this place. One and a half crore rupees will be spent in the first phase for the development of tourist facilities at this place. With this amount, boating, watch tower, bird camp, rest house equipped with modern facilities will be constructed at the said place. Apart from this, a awareness center will also be built where people will be given proper information about the species of birds.

A book will be released on the history of tourist places of Simultala
Simultala located in Jhajha block was earlier given the status of Medicinal Capital of India by the Central Government. Many types of herbs are still found in its forests. The temperature here is lower than other places. Therefore, it is also known as Mini Shimla. A book will be released containing all the details of the tourist places located in Simultala area.

There will be arrangements from changing rooms to seating
A pond, changing room, bamboo benches and toilets will be constructed near Haldiya waterfall situated in this forest area for tourists to take bath. Apart from this, different types of medicinal plants will also be planted at many places under this forest area. An amount of 35 lakhs will be spent in this entire construction work. All kinds of basic facilities will also be developed for tourists near Naroda waterfall. District forest officer said that in the first phase, all types of tourist facilities will be developed at these three selected places at any cost and all preparations are being made by the department for this.
