Respected teachers and my dear friends, greetings to all of you!

Today on 2nd October we are celebrating the birth anniversary of a great leader and freedom fighter Mahatma Gandhi. he/she was one of the most respected leaders of the 19th century. We all have gathered here on the special occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. I also pay my respects and tribute to Gandhiji. Today the entire nation is remembering and remembering him/her.

The world’s great scientist Albert Einstein once said about Gandhiji: ‘The future generations will find it difficult to believe that such a person made of flesh and blood ever came to this earth.’

Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi was born on 2 October 1869 in Porbandar, Gujarat. People also respectfully called him/her Bapu. This day has been declared as a national festival by the Government of India. Mahatma Gandhi’s strength was truth and non-violence. he/she always taught us to follow the path of truth and non-violence.

Mahatma Gandhi liberated the country by following this path and taking on the British. Gandhiji also became the leader of many movements. Non-cooperation movement, Satyagraha, Dandi March and Quit India Movement, all these movements of Gandhiji shook the foundation of British rule in India.
