‘Game Changer’ Review: Shankar served the old story in a new style, Ram Charan looked strong in the action scenes.

Well-known Tamil director S Shankar is known for making films on anti-corruption themes. his/her films like ‘Indian’, ‘Nayak’ and ‘Aparichit’ were liked about two decades ago. Then he/she made films like ‘Robot’ and ‘Shivaji’. But after Corona he/she returned to his/her old theme. he/she made the sequel of ‘Indian’ ‘Indian 2’, which was rejected by the audience. he/she is going to release ‘Indian 3’ soon. But before this, Shankar has debuted as a director in Telugu cinema with the film ‘Game Changer’. For this also, he/she has chosen his/her favorite subject, the war against corruption.

‘Game Changer’ Movie Review

Director Shankar has again made a film on a large scale on the theme against corruption. But sadly, he/she could not present anything new in the story of the film ‘Game Changer’. Watching the film, it seems that he/she has presented the stories of his/her old films in a new style. Sometimes this film reminds you of Kamal Haasan’s film ‘Indian’, and sometimes you will remember Anil Kapoor’s ‘Nayak’.

After the interval, the film ‘Game Changer’ also refreshes the memories of Anna Hazare’s movement. The film gets into action right from the beginning. Especially Ram Charan’s entry scene forces the audience to whistle. But the weak story and screenplay of the film disappoints you. There is definitely a little twist in the film after the interval. But that doesn’t last long. Whereas the climax of the film has also not become that strong.

The hero of the film calls himself unpredictable. But the director has succeeded in making him/her appear unpredictable in just a few scenes. Made with a budget of around Rs 500 crore (including promotion budget), the scale of this film is quite big, but Shankar forgot to pay attention to some basic things. For example, the first posting of an IAS officer is not directly to the District Collector, whereas no IAS officer is made the District Collector in his/her home district.

In order to add more spice to the film, it has been made unnecessarily long. If this film, which was about three and a quarter hours long, had been reduced by half an hour on the editing table, it would have been much better.

Ram Charan has performed well in terms of acting. Ram, who returned to the screen as a solo lead hero after a long time, forced his/her fans to whistle and applaud in many scenes. he/she is strong in both his/her roles. Kiara Advani is also involved in the film. Although he/she did not have much to do.

SJ Surya has done an amazing job in the role of CM Mopidevi. his/her work in the role of the main villain is strong, while the rest of the actors of the film are also busy in their roles. Due to the high budget, Shankar has shot the film on lavish sets. The cinematography of the film is also good. However, music is the weak point of this film.

Why watch- If you are a crazy fan of Ram Charan, then only go to watch this film. Otherwise, you can also manage by watching Shankar’s old films ‘Indian’, ‘Nayak’ or ‘Aparichit’ on OTT while sitting at home.
