Gambhir’s childhood coach revealed the secret, said- Gautam’s habit will become India’s strength, now there will be a lot of World Cups

New Delhi. Ever since Gautam Gambhir became the coach of Team India, there has been a lot of talk about the challenges he/she will face. Be it the team combination or the future plan. There are many challenges that can trouble Gambhir. However, Gautam Gambhir’s childhood coach Sanjay Bhardwaj does not believe so. he/she says that Gambhir has the ability to get the best performance from his/her players. he/she has always liked fighting challenges. his/her habit of facing challenges boldly can become a habit of victory for the national team.

Gautam Gambhir was appointed the head coach of the Indian men’s team on Tuesday. he/she will replace Rahul Dravid. Dravid’s tenure ended after the T20 World Cup. On the question of the challenge facing Gambhir, Sanjay Bhardwaj said, ‘Gautam has the ability to get the best performance from his/her players. This is the job of a top coach. Gauti knows his/her players well and can get the best performance from them by using them effectively.’

Sanjay Bhardwaj said, ‘I believe that as a coach he/she has the ability to take India to the top. he/she can work honestly without any bias and bring out the best in Indian cricket. India has not won the (ODI) World Cup for the last 13 years but now there is full hope of winning this title.’

Bhardwaj, who trained many players like Amit Mishra, Unmukt Chand and Nitish Rana, believes that Gambhir is always ready to face any kind of challenge. he/she said, ‘he/she always plays facing the challenge. he/she has a winning mentality since he/she was 10 years old. he/she always played to win. he/she never thought that he/she could lose a match. he/she never doubted his/her ability. he/she has the ability to face any kind of challenge and succeed in it.’

Gautam Gambhir played a key role in India winning the ODI World Cup in 2011 under the leadership of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Bhardwaj said that Gambhir had predicted Rohit Sharma’s stardom when the current Indian captain was going through a bad form in his/her early days. he/she said, ‘Gambhir has played cricket with Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Once he/she gave his/her Player of the Match to Virat, which shows how true he/she is at heart. he/she had told me long ago that Rohit Sharma will become a star player one day, which proved to be true.’

Sanjay Bhardwaj said, ‘If Gautam feels that this thing is right for the team, then he/she will stick to his/her decision. Gautam plays to win. he/she knows what to do and focuses on making a certain team combination. he/she does not believe in favoritism. he/she only likes cricket the most.’ (input language)
