Future of JioPhone Next in trouble! Realme’s cheapest 5G phone is coming, this will be the price

At this time in India, no one is adamant about 5G like Reality. So, if you expect the entry-level smartphone to get support for 5G, then it is obvious that this phone will be from Realme. In a discussion with the media, Realme CEO Madhav Seth has confirmed plans to launch a 5G smartphone in India for less than $100 (approximately Rs 7,000) later this year. It can be expected that the cheap 5G phone of Reality can put the future of Reliance’s low-budget smartphone JioPhone Next in jeopardy.

At present, Realme 8 5G is the company’s cheapest 5G phone.
Seth said that- “This ultra-cheap smartphone is still in the planning stages. However, the company is committed to work on this highly affordable 5G smartphone for the Indian market. No name, no details about this smartphone yet. Specifications and no rough launch timeline have been given. The Realme 8 5G (Price: Rs 13,999) is the company’s most affordable 5G smartphone currently sold in India.

As of now, Realme is not sharing any details on the specifications of this 5G smartphone. In 2021, Realme and Poco took the crown by selling the cheapest 5G smartphone in India. Both these phones are based on MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, which is MediaTek’s entry-level 5G chip.

Realme Y6 may be the company’s cheapest 5G phone

Qualcomm has Snapdragon 480G as its cheapest chip that supports 5G network. A recent leak revealed that the Realme Y6 is in the pipeline and there is a possibility that it could be a smartphone under Rs 7,000.

Reality aims to become the 5G leader globally
Seth said that- “Realme aims to become the 5G leader in India and globally and we strongly believe that everyone deserves a 5G device. Nearly 90 percent of our R&D (R&D)” said Seth in a statement to the media. R&D) resources have been shifted to 5G to develop 5G technology and products products, with which we may be able to further reduce our costs on 5G R&D.”
