According to the officer, Meerut has also become mini Munger. Most of the unemployed artisans of Munger’s Ordnance Factory shifted to Meerut and Aligarh. There are not just one or two, but many factories in these areas. Completely original weapons of 34 bore are being made in Meerut. Made according to the same standard. The highest demand is also for 34 bore. These are being supplied to Delhi, Haryana and Punjab by declaring them as weapons of Munger.

‘Supply System’ Tax Rate Card

According to the police officer, there is a lot of demand for AK 47 (modified). Its price is around 5 to 7 lakhs. The arms artisans of Madhya Pradesh make pistols of 9 mma, 32, 34 bore. Factory rate is in 10 to 15 thousand. When they reach the criminals through middlemen suppliers, their price reaches Rs 30 to 35 thousand. Munger, all three types of pistols 32, 12 and 9 mm are priced between Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000. The price ranges from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 3 lakh through carbine suppliers. Similarly, single barrel pistol is priced from Rs 2000 to Rs 3000, 7.65 mm revolver is priced at Rs 15000, semi-automatic pistol is priced between Rs 20 thousand to Rs 30 thousand, 9 mm local carbine is priced between Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 2 lakh.

Demand for Pakistani and Chinese weapons also

The price of foreign standard weapons via Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nagaland is around Rs 5 to 7 lakh. Among these, Star Pistol is very popular among big gangsters. There are two models. One Pakistani, the other Chinese. These pistols are being made in Darakhel of Pakistan. Whereas Star Chinese is being supplied directly from China to India via Myanmar and Nepal. The second is an automatic Taurus pistol. The third is a Glock pistol. It has the highest number of cells. Nowadays new gangsters are using it.
