From money laundering to sex racket, ‘Bharatpol’ made for wanted people sitting abroad, know how it will work

New Delhi: On the lines of Interpol, CBI has prepared a common portal named ‘Bharatpol’. In which police, CBI, NIA, ED and many other investigating agencies of all the states of the country will be involved. The advantage of this will be that India’s access to those wanted in connection with any kind of terrorist activities, serious crimes, cyber crimes, narco, sex racket and any other crimes including money laundering in the country will become faster.commit crimes and take refuge abroad
These wanted ones, after committing terrorism or any other kind of crime in India, leave the country and hide in foreign countries or are involved in terrorism and any other kind of crime in India from foreign soil. This special portal will be launched by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on January 7. At the same time, before organizing the event of this special day, a rehearsal was also done at Bharat Mandapam of Pragati Maidan on Sunday. In which minute-to-minute trial was conducted from the arrival of Home Minister Amit Shah till his/her departure.

All officers will be connected to the portal
Sources say that till now, if any state police or other investigating agency of the country has to bring any wanted Indian hiding abroad, then they usually approach CBI through e-mail or correspondence. There is also a risk of ‘leakage’ midway. But through Bharatpol, police chiefs and other top officers and investigating agencies of all the states of the country will be directly connected to this portal.
