From farmers to employment, what is the 100-day agenda of Modi Government 3.0? Know which sector is getting special attention

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken over the work of the Government of India after taking oath for the third time. 71 ministers have also taken oath along with PM Modi. Today, ministries have also been distributed among the ministers. This time, special attention has been given to the constituent parties of the NDA in PM Modi’s Council of Ministers. In fact, BJP has suffered a huge loss of vote share and seats in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, but BJP has been able to form the government with the support of its NDA constituents. The BJP-led NDA alliance has got 292 seats. BJP has emerged as the largest party in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. However, there are 63 seats less than in 2019. BJP is in action mode to compensate for the loss in this Lok Sabha election. PM Modi has started government work as soon as he/she took oath as Prime Minister for the third time. Let us know which sector will be the special focus of the government under the 100-day agenda of Modi Government 3.0.

Focus on agriculture and farmers

PM Modi today gave a gift to the farmers by signing the first file of his/her third term. his/her first official work was to release the 17th installment of ‘PM Kisan Samman Nidhi’. This will benefit 9.3 crore farmers and about Rs 20,000 crore will be distributed. Many ministers including Union Minister Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari have given their reaction on this decision of PM Modi. Union Minister Rajnath Singh wrote on the social media platform X, ‘Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment towards farmer welfare is well known. After taking oath as Prime Minister for the third time, he/she has taken the first decision in the interest of farmers. Today Prime Minister Modi released the 17th installment of ‘PM Kisan Samman Nidhi’, due to which an amount of Rs 20,000 crore reached directly to the bank accounts of the farmers of the country. I thank Narendra Modi for this farmer-friendly decision.’ In fact, the resentment of the farmers against the BJP is also not hidden from anyone. It is the anger of the farmers due to which the rural vote bank share of BJP has decreased significantly this time. This time Modi government will try to make farmers happy by taking good and big decisions in the agriculture sector. At the same time, it can also try to attract the youth by increasing recruitment in government jobs.

Focus on common man through housing scheme

A big decision has been taken in the first meeting of Modi Cabinet 3.0. Under this decision, assistance will be given under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) for the construction of 3 crore rural and urban houses. In 2015-16, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana was launched by the Modi government to provide assistance to eligible rural and urban families for the construction of houses. So far, a total of 4.21 crore houses have been built for eligible poor families under housing schemes in 10 years. All the houses constructed under PMAY are provided with other schemes of the central government and state governments along with other basic amenities like toilets, LPG connection, electricity connection, tap connection for water etc. In such a situation, in the Modi 3.0 cabinet meeting, it has been decided to provide assistance to 3 crore additional rural and urban families to build houses to meet the housing needs of the people. These houses will be constructed in both urban and rural areas. Narendra Modi has taken oath as PM for the third time and this was the first meeting of his/her Modi 3.0 cabinet, in which this big decision has been taken.

Special attention will be given to employment

India’s economy has accelerated its growth, but it does not seem to be curbing unemployment in the country. To reduce this problem, the government will have to work simultaneously on different fronts. The government will have to pay attention to this within the next 100 days. For example, tax reforms will have to be done to help the private sector, public-private partnership will have to be promoted, as well as work like skill development, better educational reforms will have to be done, PM-VIKAS will have to be implemented rapidly, which will increase the number of jobs along with better skills. Meanwhile, the government also has the question of implementing the Labor Code in consultation with the states. Most of the states have made rules to implement the Wage Code.
