Tuition Free Programs of American Universities: Getting higher education in America is very expensive, due to which many families take loans to educate their children. This is the reason why these days top universities are giving relaxation in tuition fees to the students. Five major universities of America recently announced the waiver of tuition fees for children from low and middle income families. These include both government and private universities. The financial aid programs already in place at MIT are being improved. From next year, students from families with income less than $200,000 will get a chance to study at MIT for free. At the same time, families whose annual income is less than $100,000 will neither be charged tuition fees nor will they be charged for living expenses, books and personal expenses. Here, from next year, students from families earning less than $75,000 will receive grants and scholarships to cover the full tuition fees. The UMass system is going to waive the entire tuition fee for children from families making $75,000 or less. Currently 92% eligible students get its benefit. However, after the new scheme the remaining 8% students will also get help. This scheme will benefit those who are residents of Massachusetts, want to study full-time and want to take admission for undergraduate degree on campus.
