What wrong were the schools doing?

During the inspection, irregularities were found in the attendance records of the schools. Some schools have violated the rules related to infrastructure, which compromises the quality and safety of the studies of the students. Himanshu Gupta said that through the show-cause notice, the schools have been asked for their stand regarding dummy enrollment, violation of infrastructure norms and other rules. During the inspection, more enrollments were found in most of the schools than the actual attendance records of the students. This violated the rules of the board and created a situation of ‘dummy’ enrollment. Apart from this, these schools have also violated other board rules.
