Four people missing after alleged abduction by security forces in Balochistan’s Gwadar

The missing persons have been identified as Meraj, son of Noor Baksh; Ijaz, son of Hussain; Ayub son of Hamza; And Doda Khalid.

According to The Balochistan Post, the youth, who are close friends and residents of Dasht Maksar area of ​​Kech district, were reportedly detained by Gwadar forces and have not been seen or heard from since.

The incident contributes to rising cases of enforced disappearances in Balochistan, a region heavily affected by alleged state-led abductions.

Human rights organizations and activists have expressed concern about the increasingly frequent incidents where individuals suspected of having separatist sympathies are often apprehended by security agencies and subsequently disappear without legal proceedings or formal charges, the Balochistan Post reports.
