Folk singer Sharda Sinha has been admitted to the ICU ward of Delhi AIIMS after her health deteriorated. he/she has been kept in the ICU ward after his/her health deteriorated on Saturday morning. Recently her husband Braj Kishore died of brain hemorrhage. he/she was 80 years old. This year, Sharda and her husband celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary. Sharda Sinha is 72 years old. Some reports say that veteran folk singer Sharda Sinha was facing a lot of problems in eating and drinking for the last few days. However, no health bulletin has been issued by his/her medical staff so far.

She is a popular folk singer and classical singer. She is a resident of Bihar. Sharda Sinha is known for Maithili and Bhojpuri songs. Some of his/her famous songs include ‘Vivah Geet’ and ‘Chhath Geet’. he/she has also been awarded the Padma Shri in 1991 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2018 for his/her contribution to music.
