Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are one of the much-loved couples. The two got married in 2017 and in 2021, they welcomed their baby girl Vamika. The couple’s family got complete with the arrival of their son Akay Kohli. While their fans have been waiting for a glimpse of the little one, Akay, Anushka and Virat have continued with the no-picture policy for their kids. But now, we have got the first glimpse of Virat and Anushka’s little prince Akay. Recently, a fan page of Virat Kohli shared a glimpse of the cricketer with his/her wife Anushka Sharma while they were buying flowers in London. What caught everyone’s attention in the video was the way Virat was holding his/her son Akay in his/her arms. The little one was seen dressed in black. Anushka looked pretty in a white top and denim shorts while Virat wore a beige t-shirt and paired it with white pants. Moreover, the way Virat held his/her baby in his/her arms won our hearts.

Virat talked about children

Earlier, in an interview with Danish Sait on the official channel of RCB, Virat Kohli was asked about his/her kids. Danish asked Virat ‘how is Pappu’. At first, the cricketer did not understand that Danish was referring to Akay and soon realising it, he/she flashed a cute smile and said that the baby is good. Further, the cricketer shared that his/her baby girl Vamika was very happy when she swung the bat for the first time but the career options of his/her children will only depend on what they want to do.

What does the name Akay mean?

They shared a picture on February 20, 2024 and announced that they have a son, whom they named Akay. The name ‘Akay’ has a deep meaning. The name means ‘full moon’ or ‘shining moon’ in Turkish, while in Hindi it means formless. Akay means supreme power in Sanskrit. Many people also said that ‘Akay’ is another name for Shiva.
